![]() How blessed are we to live out the miracle of life in each new moment? That is all we really have is the present moment as none of us are promised the next. We have lost a lot of famous people this year and a lot of loved ones too. We never know what we have until that person becomes a memory or even more than that, we knew what we had but never thought we'd lose it. We have the opportunity to be alive and present in each moment because that is where miracles happen. Yes!! Right there in that moment when you hear your grandchild laughing or open that door for a stranger or the warm breeze on your face that connects you with all there is. We never know how we may impact another's life but it is the smallest stone that can create the biggest ripple. To have the opportunity to act in love and kindness and cherish what we have is a beautiful thing. I thank God everyday for the many blessings I have and all the challenging situations that I have found myself in. I have grown so much and learned that what we perceive as "bad" are opportunities to move closer to our true nature, which is love. Love is not only who we are but it is what we are. So may you all have a Happy New Year and an even happier new moment. Blessings. ![]() Written: December 31, 2016 at 3:42 pm

It has been three years, eight months, seventeen days, one hour and and twenty four minutes since the love of my life left his physical body. I think it would be fair to say I am on the path to healing with his ever-present light guiding my path. Today marks one year since our book went to print and I find myself here in a different space then I was then, than I was six months ago, and to be quite honest, where I was just a moment ago. Life is forever changing as each moment brings sometning new and different. My perspective sometimes changes with each new breath I take. We are at the end of a nine year cycle here on earth and ready to enter into a brand new nine year cycle. Why are we at the end of a nine year cycle? Thought you'd never ask! Numbers play a significant role in our life, far more than we could possibly imagine. The year 2016 in numerology is a (9) 2+0+1+6 = 9 and nine means, completion. We have been dealing with old patterns/behaviors that have been coming up so that we can clear them once in for all (for future generations as well.) Some of these patterns may be from other lifetimes that we carried over. It is time to stop playing that endless loop of tape over and over in our minds that robs us from happiness. It is time to gain a profound understanding in all situations and people in our life so we can find compassion to open our hearts and forgive one another. With the energies that are assisting us now through this transition it is the best time to reflect on what we have been through the past nine years and honor every situation in love. All the joyous things that we experienced or witnessed are important and what we perceived as "bad" is equally important. We have to reflect on what we loved, learned and what we need to release to start anew. We have to empty out our cup that we filled with resentments, anger, jealousy, and fears so that we have room to fill it up with love, joy and peace. 2017 in numerology is a (1) 2+0+1+7 = (10) 1+0 = (1) One means, new beginnings. So it is time for a fresh new beginning as we purge anything that doesn't serve our highest good. A friend asked me "how do you honor the bad things in love?" I will tell you it's not easy but it is all about perspective. And trust me I have to pray to God/Universe/Source and the entire Angelic Realm to help give me a different perspective so that I can put one foot in front of the other some days. Dy. Wayne Dyer says: "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." I love those words and I try live by them. You see, when we go through life's challenges (divorce, financial loss, grief, pain etc. etc.) these are opportunities to move into deeper levels of "self" or higher levels of consciousness. Tragic events make us go within and rid ourselves of emotional baggage that keeps us from living and loving fully. When we empty out all of that negativity then we draw closer to who we truly are, our most authentic self (who we are at the core.) It is here where we become compassionate, worthy and learn self-love so we can love others unconditionally. So as we approach the new year we really need to look over the last nine and reflect on all that has happened to us. Although some of it was challenging there is always a gift to see instead of a curse. My friend Yvonne Cloete wrote a book titled just that "See the Gift not the Curse" My own personal journey through unbearable grief is allowing me to become the best version of myself that I can be. I have picked up so many beautiful gems along the way that I feel extremely blessed. Instead of resisting the pain I am surrendering to it and honoring the process of self transformation as I head into the new year with a whole new perspective. Doesn't mean I will never be sad or cry as my heart is pained. But beneath all that pain is a love beyond words that needs to be felt and and then shared. l desperately need that empty cup to fill it up with all that is good. So, out with the old and in with the new. Hope you will join me. ![]() Written: 12/27/2016 at 10:30pm
