![]() Grief cracks us open to the core and shatters us into smithereens. We spend the rest of our lives putting the pieces back together to become whole again. It is much like a vase breaking into a thousand pieces and trying to put it back together. When you get it back together there are tiny shards of glass that are missing that leave cracks in the vase. It is within these cracks that much light seeps in. It is that light that fills your being along with profound love that you never even knew existed. When we are completely filled with this love for self and everything in the Universe it has no choice but spill over and out of us. We have a strong pull to help and share that love with others. By loving ourselves first, it is then that we are capable of loving others. We become the author's of our own life and can finally say what is okay and what is not. We have to set boundaries with others and that is not about hating them it is about loving yourself. Those who truly love you will understand. There is no room for negativity as we become our most authentic self (who we really are at the soul level.) Fears are tossed to the side and we live from the heart and not the ego. We don't have to have a plan about where our life is going as we are now fully present in each moment. That is all we have is every moment to see all the miracles of life. The blue sky,the wind on your cheek, and kids playing and hearing their laughter. We are completely transformed by love. There is a saying among-st the grief community after losing a loved one and that is: "We will never be the same...nor would we want to be." I am happy to have the opportunity to walk this path as the right people have shown up at the right time along with circumstances and opportunities. We are all divine sparks of God and here to learn and grow spiritually. It is all humanities privilege to impart love and wisdom to one another as we live out our human experience. We can't have the rainbow without the rain and we can't see the stars without the darkness. In LOVE and LIGHT. ![]() Written August 23, 2016
